john, Have you seen the reports that the Great Lakes are the lowest they've been in hundred years? They are not about to run out of water but we think of them as too big to shrink......but shrinking they are. I am trying to comprehend this, but I must be missing something. How can, for example, lake Erie drop below the level of the top of the Niagara Falls? Similar concept with other lakes. How can their level drop below the top of the bottom of their drain? The water never stops flowing out of the lakes. It is not like the Dead sea... Joe
