***OT*** A person that is not a member of SI emailed this question to me. I recall a discussion of this somewhere on SI last April when the neworkers looked dim. I cannot locate it but if someone could answer this question I would appreciate it. "What is the maximum amount one can claim this year 1997 for a CAPITAL LOSS on a stock or stocks? Does it carry over into next year 1998 and/or for how many years? How does it work out if you have more capital loss vs. capital gains?" Thank you. Glenn
