I might be wrong here but I do not think the price of steppers have ever declined. They add a few new features and raise the prices. I do not recollect offhand anyone of my vendors giving us a price decrease for older models are for new upgraded models. I see the prices holding at the present levels and actually going up as time goes on. The closest analogy I have is with the SONY Trinitron TVs. Each year the price seems to stay the same for each screen size but the feature functionality improves with each model year. Andrew
