It makes them indebted, because they used borrowed money to bid the prices up. <Home prices to rise 45% by end-08E! The actual wealth that would be created would far exceed the total value of Hong Kong. Instead, you are joining the USA and NZ "wealth" system in which people borrow loads of money, bid up the prices of existing houses, and call it wealth. I recommend you sell out at the top if such mania takes hold, and buy gold - or OFDM factories if they are allowed instead of dopey wealth-destroying TD-SCDMA. Mqurice
