Dan Reeves brought winning football to Denver. No one before him gave it a serious run. There were very mixed emotions around here when Reeves was let go. He and Elway had a love-hate relationship that probably was the ultimate reason behind Reeves leaving. Of course, Elway found a great deal of enjoyment in coming off the SB win against Green Bay and the following year, beat Atlanta, with Reeves as their coach. Now, both are gone from the game. Reeves still has a lot of respect here in Denver... of course, so does Elway. I think they have mostly put aside their differences and are civil to one another these days.
