My wife was speaking to a landscaper in Fla yesterday. She asked him what his biggest concern is. He replied, "Having enough business. Things are real bad." My wife's colleague looked at her and asked, "What's going on in Fla.?" Our economy is strong in the heart of Silly Valley, and many are oblivious to what's going on elsewhere. On the flipside, my friend said that houses aren't moving as fast as they were in Burlingame, but that could be seasonal. Still moving very fast in my neck of the woods, the epicenter of Silly Valley.
