I am a conservative investor, not necessarily by nature but by experience and age. I am not looking for momo in semis or chips, just better valuation and better earnings over time. Given where the market was and now is, its been a very disappointing experience. Could have switched into Goldman sachs from amat when GS was 160 at the bottom. Amat was as it always is at 20 or so. I was just expressing frustration in my post and looking for some guidance as to when folks here expect group to outperform. If thats not in the cards, long term holders should consider switching into appropriate alternatives. But as i always tell gottfried, the day we sell is the day the big rise starts. I have been trying to convince him for years to sell and him me. Neither of us is smart enough to work a side deal to split the profits. (g)
