(AP) -- Caliper Life Sciences Inc., which makes software used for drug development, said Wednesday it received a contract from the National Institute of Environmental Health Services worth up to $7 million for a period of up to 10 years. Under terms of the agreement, Xenogen Biosciences, the in-vivo drug discovery services unit of Caliper, will supply National Institute of Environmental Health Services investigators with genetically modified mouse models for research purposes, beginning immediately.
