I believe under the Constitution it's called an "insurrection".

Well, you believe wrong.

The Insurrection Act, 10 U.S.C. 331 - 10 U.S.C. 335, and the Posse Comitatus Act, 18 U. S. C. 1835, substantially limit the Prez's power to use federal troops for law enforcement purposes.

Now, y'all could declare war on us, but that would be an implicit recognition of our status. Plus, we would be recognized by our fine Latin American friends and a host of others with axes to grind. We'd have the Attorney General arguing the case at The Hague in no time, and we would win because we do have magnificent legal talent around here in addition to our natural resources you guys are pilfering.
