I think in particular that huge supercomputing clusters would be interested in 2 GHz Barcelona's if the price is right. Replacing 2.6 GHz Opterons with 2 GHz Barcelona's should almost triple the LINPACK performance and probably double real performance on their typical workloads. Especially since 3 GHz when available will cost twice as much. PS - I wouldn't expect them to be buying from Newegg. Petz
