Their young people send money to Greenpeace, Sierra, Club and other weird organization... They start going to university to be marine biologists rather than construction or mining engineers....
The country is extirpated of its vital force. It starts dying out. Like Japan can only supply technology to the rest of Asia and capital to the rest of the world, now it is time for Europe and the US to start that ramp down hill.
That US that built the railways, saw the Robber Barons build Empires, dig the Panama Canal, split the atom, made the bomb, constructed the interstates, made the project Apollo... That US exists no more.
Those types of politicians, (the president can no longer enjoy a boquete with an intern in the White House anymore!) economists, professors, scientists and workers -the ones we see in photos building high rise buildings without safety belts- they are dead already. The others are 70 years plus.
