Re. "starting down" vs "being in an ice age" - both involve cooling. Perhaps you should clarify exactly when all this would/will occur and the temperature changes involved ... with and without human CO2 increases. After all, you do know and can accurately forecast weather years and centuries in advance. This is elementary for someone with your brainpower.

I can see that glacial melting is presented as evidence of AGW and glacial buildup is also presented as evidence of AGW. That's a fact I can note. But it isn't logical.

Why don't you look at the differences noted, then it would be logical.

Thanks for veryifying my statement. Both glacial melting and glacial buildup are proof of AGW for AGW proponents.

I suppose if your view is that all glaciers are created equal and all should behave identically, then it would be a conundrum alright.

Nah, its not a conundrum to me that different glaciers in different places are different because I don't attribute everything to global warming. You do.
