Back to options, I find it ironic that most people respond negatively when the SEC does these kind of reviews.

I think I am the only one responding negatively here. But thats because I know the story in detail and know the tactics of the SEC and DOJ (its a big sting operation).

The bottom line is, running a company is really a killer. The CEOs and VPs don't just sit around all day scheming and trying to screw the little guy utilizing stock options. Coming up with the ipod and iphone spent years of greuling 12 hour days and constant exhausting negotiations with suppliers and channel partners to get these things off the ground. Thats what executives do all day. If some options plan methodology has existed for 30 years they won't question it, they have too much else to do. Individual investors are somewhat immature about this, and those are who is on these juries.
