Good point!

On one hand we have the president of Afghanistan. He is a US citizen and an ally. He has every reason in the world to tow the WH line. And yet, he feels the WH is so wrong on Iran, that he goes out of his way to negate Bush in public and to give medals to the Iranian ambassador.

On the other hand, we have people who never saw a war they didn't like. People who did their best to make mountains out of mole hills and use anything from plagiarized student paper to outright forgery to "prove" their derive for the war. People who viciously attacked anyone who opposed the war as a coward, unpatriotic, or downright corrupt...and after all that, the same people were proved wrong.

So you are right, whom should we believe?
