I went through all the infusional therapies one more time. When I made the comment about infusional therapy, I was focusing on DeGramont regimen which preloads 5FU and LV infusionally for 2 hours and then infuses 5FU for 22 hours via pump. There are only a few centers out there that still use 5FU/LV infusional DeGramont as the standard of care. Most places now use much better forms of combination therapy which all use different types of bolus or infusional administration of 5FU/LV or ILF plus some other drug like Avastin.
