Slag, a man of many talents.No New York city boy would have been able to come up with that.That time in the barrio has served you well. It is a Massey Harris 44 Special (power steering).I'm tired of slow turn over of 6 volt system, and wondering if it will start, before i run out of battery. A neighbour recently laid a Delco Remey alternator with built in voltage regulator on me, so, off to a good start. I think i have a 12 volt coil here somewhere.The advice of ballast resistor shows you know what yer talkin about.<gg> Heavy wirin on that ol starter so should be OK for awhile...thanks.A+<g>
