Sadly I have a hard time going out for a steak also as they don't compare well with my own. I had the signature bone in ribeye at Delmonico in the Venetian which is an extremely upscale and expensive Emeril restaurant that receives rave reviews. My 50 dollar dry aged steak was average at best IMO. I too tend to stick with making my own.

But it is often nice to just sit and eat and not cook.
