I like being able to get up and move around in the motorhome while under way. But there is a serious case that can be made for a large 5th wheel and a truck. You don't have the incredibly complex stuff going with the 5th wheel. You drop the trailer and you have your vehicle to drive. You only have one motorized vehicle to maintain and these new diesel trucks are basically bullet proof. The list goes on. A real case could be made for sticking with a 5th wheel.
