I think the analysts became more unsure about the phase 3 because the company said they would have to talk to their marketing partners. If the partners decide not to provide financial support for Avastin and Cofactor, it puts the company into very tight financial predicament. Then, they would have to get by with the cash flow from Vinorelbine, and no one wants to make that assumption right now.

However, that's not the point of the issues I am looking at. I'm simply trying to look at all the Avastin and Cofactor trials and see if they are a good fit. Also, I wanted to see if Avastin would interfere with Cofactor like the second infusion of 5FU. I just want to figure out if the company still has a good shot at getting the partnership.

Since the company was planning to go from phase 2 b to phase 3 Avastin and Cofactor in Europe, I think it is also important to look at the design of the Phase 3 trial and figure out if the EMEA would approve Cofactor phase 3 using the data from the Cofactor arm in the US that worked. The company has come this far with the successful phase 2 and fast track status for the phase 3.

I can't really think of any other questions to raise. Is the phase 3 design a good fit with Avastin and Cofactor? Will a marketing partnership develop? Will the EMEA consider Cofactor for phase 3 in Europe using phase 3 data?
