TJ, watch out if the power expert will touch the issue of saving energy to avoid building a new power plant. There are wastages in the old style energy generation, transmission and distribution. Once you attack those the savings are equivalent of one new power stations. My friend, former ABB, is an expert in this area and he was explaining about the solutions.

Only in the consumer side there's a revolution going on:
For instance: "China is switching off standard incandescent bulbs as part of a multi-national campaign to ban the inefficient lighting" and of course bring more profits for the manufacturers of the fluorescent type.

The initiative could hugely spur alternative bulbs including compact fluorescent bulbs and light-emitting diodes (LEDs).

GE plans to cut about 1,400 jobs at its lighting division as the company closes plants in the U.S. and Brazil amid a consumer shift to more energy- efficient fluorescent lamps.

This time he decided to talk to TJ before entering. Looks like last time he entered China without your adivce.

These Gigawatts are only fixed energy needs. You can just picture the mobile energy needs, mobile as in liquid fuel for cars...
