Searle,

There is no one "king" or "don". There is an organizing principle and an already agreed upon overarching set of agendas. I think this is where you're getting stuck. The set of pre-existing ground rules is the "king". The group is organized around these ground rules. The group wouldn't exist without them.

Although there are many wealthy people who don't belong to the Bilderberg Group and its ancillaries, those people do not function as a "ruling elite". If we're talking about the ruling elite, then the rich people who do not function as such need not be considered in the discussion.

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is a scam. They're fake and have been known as such for quite some years.

The Bilderberg Group is exactly about like-minded people. Their similarity of mindedness is that they desire and strive to be the "ruling elite". To maintain that position takes a particular set of personality traits. Ruthlessness would be among that set of traits as would the idea of inherent superiority bordering on (or perhaps the outright crossing over into) extreme sociopathy.

"A handful of powerful, determined Americans would have been sufficient. On the subject of major crimes committed by Americans on Americans we can add 9/11."

Consider the bombings in Madrid and the London bombings. They were the same type of events as 9/11. All "officially" blamed on the same source...al qaeda (an organization created by one of the tools of the ruling elite, the CIA with MI6 help). Al qaeda is just a patsy/bogie. The people of Spain put a stop to it by refusing to play. In Britain and the US the drive to limit individual liberties and consolidate power have accelerated after these events because the people were more gullible. Taken together these events illustrate that the participation list in the overall agenda is quite larger than just a few Americans.
Look at a list of Bilderberg meeting attendees and see what corporations are represented. As well as within the CFR.
Those who have benefited most from the phony "war on terror" are all on those lists.

And...as for this "war on terror"...that was decided on 40 years ago.

It is the control mechanism designed to replace the "communist threat".
The group's overarching set of agendas has been consistent for many years. If it were a few individuals making a constant string of decisions, the agenda would have changed as people in the group die off. An idea doesn't die and as some people die off the idea remains to continue to attract other like-minded people to replace them in the group.
