I had to pay the guv $2400 sales tax on two vehicles I bought out of state before I was a resident, simply because I did not register them for $25 in the state where I bought them before bringing them to our state. I was ignorant of the game.

You have to know the rules so you can play by them and still win. Like burning pine cones, which if you do so to get rid of them is against the recent policy here but if you cook hotdogs over them it's OK. So we had a picnic and didn't make a mess in the kitchen.
