Also, about PCs. I can't begin to tell you how many times I have been over to a friend's house and they asked me to diagnose some ill on their PC, and I subsequently discover the CMOS battery went bad about a year ago, and the PC thinks it's 1980. I guess I've been working on the year 1980 problem for a while..

Most home PC applications don't care what the date is. But if you're going to invest in a new PC, make sure it is compliant.
