Thanx, Paul. Not quite sure I understand, though. I assumed from that article that 1080i will be available through Apple tv/itunes. For now, I would be very happy getting 1080i hd movie downloads from the digital cable through itunes and port the movie to my receiver with a cable. My hitachi projector is only 1080i and, honestly, I don't see a huge difference between 1080 'i' and 'p'. I mean 'i' may not be as good as 'p', but it's pretty good. Are you saying the 'i' movies downloaded to Apple tv wouldn't be as good as the 'i' dvd's? I'm real tired of paying $20-$30 for a movie I'm only going to watch once and downloads would be more convenient. I'd upgrade when 'p' is ubiquitous(if that ever happens).
