Keith -

When you run Windows on a Mac, either using a virtual machine (Parallels, VMWare) or Boot Camp, you are running the actual OS, just like you would on a PC. So yes, it runs IE, and every other program that runs on Windows.

I recommend the VMWare or Parallels solution if all you need Windows for is IE. With either or those you can run IE right alongside all your Mac apps. It's pretty cool, actually.
