I think Parallels and VM Fusion both require an Intel based Mac, which would definitely be a requirement for my next Mac. The same will be true for Boot Camp in the new Leopard system. Right now, none of those solutions would work on g4 iBook with 1.2 GB ram and a 1.2 GHz power pc chip. I can't get anywhere without a software upgrade from 10.3 or an Intel based Apple. Time to buy more Intel?

I will always keep my old iBook, but to get all the really nifty multiapplications on dual screen layout between Mac OS and Windows PC, I think a new Mac with an Intel processor is looking like a sure thing on the Christmas list. Add in a new dual monitor for the Mac. No sense in cramming all those windows and screens on on display.
