There is a "sunw and java" which E_K_S posted in September, 2007. But no one followed. I guess I will keep this one alive for a while. The company is still SunMicro. The Nasdaq symbol is changed to JAVA. No particular facts are changing; the stock price is stable until some bad news is coming. Wait and see seems to be the attitude for the moment. Some time turn arounds go thru big disappointments because management did not change their spots. Unless, the management continue to support quicky business plan, it will be hopeless. The quicky business plan is restructuring, maintain hardware reliability, and make obscene profits by ERP(enterprise resource planning/just in time scheduling). The name change and reverse split cost money and generally not productive. Watch ebay to see how Sun is doing on the service front. Losing your ebay data on ebay is hardware problems that Sun is not taking care(lost feedbacks, it is a mess). Not able to search by sorting data on ebay is the failure of Java emulation of search engine. so far, Sun is not paying attention to the business at ebay. Ebay no longer had powered by Sun logo.
