A billion dollars would get me everything I want and be able to give everyone I love everything they want. And have a bunch left over for charity.

One can never know for sure, but I believe wealth would not change my habits very much. Many millionaires live very modestly.

I know of once case, friends of my wife's family, who left a sizable estate. They lived in a modest house, only flushed the toilet for solids, and turned out every light they weren't using. They were actually very tight with their money, which I suppose is the way they ended up with so much. I'm not sure I agree with living poor and letting your heirs enjoy your wealth.
