I believe Dr Jay's (James to those he is formal with) "transgression" in Brinker's eye was to say he was not renewing several weeks or months ago when he complimented me on taking profits when the market was in the 1500's then actually buying something when it was lower and sending a note to my subscribers, of which he is one, on that very day rather than after the market was under 1380 on a correction. Dr Jay posted this on Suite101. I don't recall when or where, but I bet the post is still there if someone wanted to look.

I believe his "sin" was pointing out the something Brinker didn't like hearing so Brinker sent him and others a "message" similar to the one he sent Rande and I when we posted in Jan 2000 that Brinker might be right to sell SOME of his portfolio then but it would be costly with taxes AND he'd have to get back in at a good time which is often hard.
