Jerusalem was intended to be the capitol of Palestine - when the Green line was drawn. Check your facts.

The Green Line wasn't "drawn". It was the truce line negotiated in 1949 between Israel and Jordan. Jordan held the West Bank from 1948 to 1967 and certainly had ZERO intentions to create a Palestinian state with a capital anywhere. They didn't invest a penny in the West Bank or Jerusalem. If you lived in Jordanian East Jerusalem, you had to go to Amman to get a bank loan or go to university. Any local political activity was suppressed.
