ALVR's stock has been subject of profit taking the past couple of days, with some comments about CSCO (not buying ALVR) & VZ not approving the WiMax technology.

Sprint will spend $5B on a WiMax roll-out & SamSung, Motorola, Nortel & lately Nokia, are also planning on going along with WiMax.

On the other hand, it costs VZ about $900 per subscriber to bring its fiber to the curb & another $900 to bring to the home, for a total of about $1800 per subscriber for fiber to the home.<g>
That's $1 billion for 1 million households,or a total of $23 billion (and there is no mobility).
(Compare that to the estimate for WiMAX,about $8 to $15per home <g>)

The other option is the cable TV, Comcast, whuch is sending a big data pipe to the homes & ready to make phone service also available.

ALVR's stock has held above the $13 level. It needs to get below $12.50 to interrupt the UT that started in February from the 6.70 level.
