He speaks of stepping up testing to make sure that their products meet specification, because the products which were unsafe did not meet specification. mattel.com If you think this is pathetic, then you really do not understand American business culture at all. Mq says that all the Chinese understand is dog-eat-dog and the Devil take the hindmost. This seems like a very harsh judgment but you're convincing me that he's right. I don't really understand a culture where it's good business to make products that not only don't meet specification, are actually poisonous, and then blame the business partners who trusted you. Even more baffling is the implication that poison will continue to be put into products whenever it is possible to get away with it. But, as you say, just is.
