Regarding the following

"But the same is true on the Democratic side. I don't believe that people supporting either Obama or Edwards right now, not to mention Biden, Dodd et al, would vote for a Republican instead of Hillary. Yes, some might, but no greater a percentage than would be true the other way (disappointed republican voting democratic). "

I definitely can see Biden supporters jumping to the Republican or to the Independent Candidate if there is one.

Biden has been voting Independent while caucusing with the Democrats. In Virginia these independents, have always been great for swing votes in the Virginia General Assembly for the Republicans.

Can also see the North Carolina voters moving from Edwards----there are actually people who support Edwards because of his being in Carolina but would not think of supporting Hillary.

Hillary won't take Republican votes unless she changes her stripes which she is very good at doing. Of course if she does change her stripes and spots after the Primary then what do the leftist who supported her in the Primary do------run a third or fourth party candidate.

If Ron Paul does not win the Republican nomination then what will you do? Stay with the Republicans or move over to vote for Hillary if she is the Dem nominee. I would trust that Ron Paul would support the nominee of choice.

Seems to me there is a huge disparity between Ron Paul and Hillary so would think that would be difficult for his supporters to do.
