Years ago ebay offered more views than an average afternoon garage sale. TODAY, I could get more views of the same item within 4 hours at a weekend garage sale. TRUE but SAD. I'm finding more and more ebay is a losing proposition for selling my unwanted items. I'd rather enjoy a brisk weekend garage sale. What a shame ebay has grown up and grown OLD. I can offer an "Buy it Now" item for $3 with $2 shipping and have 2 watchers. 12 Flashlight bulbs delivered and they are watched. People spend $5 on a beer in a second. But its a stressful thought out decision to buy a needed item and part with a slim $5 bill. And after my efforts to find, list, label and pack the item offer paypal, and pay a listing fee, photo fee, final value fee, paypal flat rate fee plus percentage cost, shipping cost and my time and effort, I make a dollar. I've got thousands of those bulbs and Im fed up and ready to toss them in the garbage for free! Ohhh yes we need a neighborhood, NOT I've got my own right here and a garbage can that folks can find lots of free items where I get the satisfaction of knowing I'm helping some poor soul who has less than I.
