We weren't talking about design flaws, Jay, we were talking about lead paint, and other poisons. These are two entirely different things. A design flaw is a mistake. Selling poison to those who trust you is an ethical failure. Owning up to design flaws and ethical failings is an essential part of 21st century American corporate culture, subcategory risk management. Extreme honesty is the best policy. Hiding mistakes, evading responsibility, these are childish acts that have bad consequences. Preventing mistakes, taking responsibility, these are mature acts of good judgment. Everybody makes mistakes. It takes a big man to admit a mistake.
