Hello Pezz, Report from the front line fox hole by buddy via e-mail, and I quote:

A few snippets from a colleague who recently met with some private banking houses here in Hong Kong:
- Investors very aggressive investing in HK shares, especially IPO's and H-Shares.
- Greed level very high
- No one seems to bother with fundamentals or detailed analysis.
- Investment Banks having a hard time dealing with demand, especially structured products.
- Mainland CEO's pledging their IPO shares to borrow to punt on other "investments." (borrowing 80-90% of share value)
- Middle East big buyers of China assets.
- No interest in investments outside of China.
- No interest in commodities or hedge funds.
- High interest in Private Equity.
- Drawing down cash rapidly to put into shares.
- Hot products are accumlators and Range Accrual Notes (due to high volatility).

At least here in HK, speculation is rampant.
Everyone wants to be the next Lee Shau Kee.
