Here I am on Kordia's Wi-Fi zone in Remuera, Auckland, which is using the RoamAD system and it's working well. Good coverage. Easy to use.

I just want to write a post via RoamAD's system. Here it is. Costs me NZ15c per megabyte, which is a pretty reasonable price.

Yay for RoamAD.

If Zenbu zenbu.net.nz gets an SSID on the Kordia system it will be yay Zenbu AND yay RoamAD.

Meanwhile, Zenbu is now New Zealand's largest [most points of presence] accommodation provider network in New Zealand after just 5 months of marketing. Zenbu is also NZ's third largest Wi-Fi network after Telecom and CafeNET. CafeNET is focused on Wellington and Palmerston North, with a bunch in Hawkes Bay and some in Auckland. Telecom is all over the place but horrendously expensive at $10 an hour.

With Kordia, RoamAD and Zenbu, NZers can enjoy convenient, reasonably cheap Wi-Fi. The main cost is ADSL backhaul charges which are very high in NZ.
