TJ, please mark me down too!! But not as a supporter of any extant evil-doing government-issue fiat currency. Mq's Qi will reign supreme. In the interregnum, gold will assuredly reach $2000 an ounce and possibly $10,000 an ounce. But it will be a short-lived spree, as was the $800 apogee of 1980.

When Mq has set about attacking the Aztecs with Qi galore, their little golden totems will be a sad relic of a time gone by. Their chanting will come to a halt, their bare-bum dancing around the campfire of their fantasies, clutching their little talismen, will look like any long-disused superstitious tradition viewed from the modern era. Embarrassing at best.

A reasonable dollar reset would be 10:1 and possibly as little as 5:1. Perhaps in conjunction with a NAFTA swindle "Let's combine our currencies in an all singing and dancing wonderful new NAF$". Perhaps some other countries with monster US$ holdings will take part. Perhaps Japan will join in? Is it possible China would take part? The euro is locked in so none of them would join. India? Oz? NZ?

A LOT could be concealed by such a manouevre.
