Thanks for the summary of the conference call. I was able to listen in and had some questions:

The tone was very good, but not overly celebratory. Maybe just understated. There is still lots of hard work ahead, was the opinion I got from hearing Peter Johnson. He doesn't know when the sales curve will flatten, but someday it will.

Perhaps you understood what the talk about Loss due to the "excercise of non-qualified stock options" was about. It came up in the discussion about taxes. Apparently, taxes won't be paid (from cash) for several years more that expected.

The IMS data appears to be next to useless in predicting Viracept sales. Why were all the estimates low even after multiplying the IMS data by 1.5?

Can anyone define BID? It is the hope that BID studies will have good results to be presented in Hamburg and Chicago.

I looks as if 2/3 of the new patients are also PI naive. I recently read that of the estimated 800,000 people in the USA with HIV infection, only 500,000 are getting treated. Are we seeing some of those untreated people coming into therapy? Where is the money going to come from? Are there any good statistics on HIV demographics? I think increased government funding will be important for Viracept sales to continue to grow.

Congratulations to all who kept the faith!
