billy, is Harry Schultz still alive? Gartman- made some terribly wrong calls on CNBC over a six month period by my count, but because he still held 'some' GLD the ETF now he's a freekin' hereo and the posterchild for PM bulls? What a joke. Gartman led, and I mean 'LED' the parade of short on CNBC right into and all the way up of the DOW going to new highs. And even more importantly- 'REAL GOLD BUGS DON'T ONLY OWN ETF's' ! Gartman on gold is a farce. He's an old commodity hack- from back when he was virtually the only game in town. He's ALWAYS been a 'generalist'- a guy who never met a camera he didn't like and and would crawl over broken glass to get 20 seconds of air time. In my 30 years of following PM's- he's never even been on the charts of 'gold bugs' that I'd follow. He's a reporters analyst. Someone they can call and get a quote, or fill air time- that doesn't come off as a sterotypical gold-nut. He's well spoken, never been in the nutball camp, or looked at as an extremist- like Harry Schultz, Howard Ruff, or the old time, old school hard money gold bugs. I used to subscribe to Harry's newsletter years ago. I honestly thought he's since passed away? If he's still alive he must be in his 80's- is he still writing the HS Letter, or is someone else?
