From what I heard, it is going to be Saturday. However, some people say it is Friday. It all depends where you are and if they see the moon

Every country is different. Oman already decided that it would be Saturday this morning, nothing to do with actually seeing any moon.

I'll tell you one thing, this inability to determine national holidays until the day before is pretty freaking ridiculous. Can you imagine if Americans weren't told whether the national holiday would be 4th or 3rd of July until the evening of July 2nd? It's totally ridiculous. Some of us like to take vacations which can require air travel and who can make a reservation the day of the start of the national holiday. Local people here don't yet know whether their 3 day vacation is Fri-Sat-Sun or Sat-Sun-Mon, and it's 750pm Thursday!
