I do not think that there will be a major setback. Even if the new Sprint CEO decides to focus on the basics,the most likely outcome is that the WiMax operation will be spun out of Sprint into an independent entity, with Intel Capital acting as a mid-wife. Such an entity sans Sprints lackluster cell phone operations would be an excellent investment candidate. I would definitely invest if this entity went public.The spinout process may delay the nationwide WiMax rollout by several months.
