I am not going to argue personalities per se. That is just arguing.

Yes, Kennedy was very wrong. But overall he seems to be a humane man. And I do not feel I know how to judge him overall.

Judging people is messy and relative to how one sees the world. I tend to judge people on their humanity.

I am pretty sure some people are more empathetic and compassionate than others. My heros are the people with compassion like Harper Lee who wrote "to Kill a Mockingbird".

My favorite book of all time.
