I know something about China, having lived there for eight years. I assure you that the Kuomintang and everybody else, including Chinese in Taiwan, all believe that Tibet is a province of China. Before the revolution Tibet acknowledged Chinese stamps and currency as theirs. It's only the US that invented a separate country. As far as evil treatment of the Tibetan people, everything I have ever heard is that the Communists treated the Tibetan people as brutally as they treated the Han people, no discrimination.
