Just so that we understand each other, when I come to the defense of religion I am not referring to fanatical movements.

On the other hand, the anti-religion movement is IMO a fanatical one. They are the ones imposing their views onto others. For example, there are over 500 kids in my old elementary school, including my nephew and niece. All the students and their families with the exception of one kid wish to celebrate Christmas by putting up a tree. Unfortunately, because of one single kid, the rest of the students are deprived of their celebration. Why should the beliefs of one single individual be imposed on those of a whole community?
