I used to prepare technical presentations/publications and I too was one of the few who used a PC instead of a MAC. I used Ventura Publisher which I found to be enormously flexible, especially for interfacing with databases. Its complexity caused a lot of people to avoid it, but I got a real kick out of it. It did not have the detailed Page layout/Paste-Up capabilities such that Quark Xpress has - its forte was long documents. Anyhow, when Quark is available for the Alpha, perhaps you'll have time to do an Alpha/Pentium II comparison. If so, let me know what the results are. Paul
