Look around, we're in a recession. That's my perception/expectation, although there's not any proof yet in the official numbers. Just the constant parade of people in suits on CNBC doing their best to reassure the populace screams to me that the problem is bigger than anyone is letting on. Even the President, whom I don't dislike-some good, some bad-sounded pretty lame. And that FDIC person a few days ago sounded absolutely panic stricken. We'll see. Interesting times. ARS
