Well, in some respects Hillary is the least of a bunch of evils being offered by that side, but we'll have to disagree regarding her alleged moderation and the possible effect thereof.

I actually think Hillary has the possibility of making many disastrous decisions for this country from which it might never recover. In the short term, she'd sleep with the devil and do his bidding if it kept her powerful and allowed a pretense to a favorable legacy, but on the whole, I still believe she'll make whatever decisions are necessary to effectuate her socialist and one world fantasies.

Kerry's lifelong ambition was to be President. He was more expedient that Hillary in trying to achieve that goal, which is why he would pander to any faction that he thought would help him to do so. I don't think Kerry had, or has, any real commitment to any ideology other than to the ideology of aggrandizement of John Kerry.

Hillary, OTOH, while equally ego-centric, has a lifelong philosophy and burning hunger to inflict upon the country her brand of socialism. But she just won't really admit what she's all about.....

Neither Obama nor Edwards have a real shot at the nomination, imo. Too bad there's not a real contender against Hillary. I fear many will think as you do, which may just result in a Hillary-a-thon....heaven help us<g>
