I fully agree, but I was just trying to make the point that there have been enormous costs to Israeli policy, which, from a purely financial point of view, can hardly be justified. I was making this point in elaboration of the ones made previously, also with tongue in cheek of course, that either the Palestinians or the Zionists should be brought to the US (presumably as a means of ending the conflict).

I didn't consider that but it must be so. I am of course aware of the social "apartheid" between the Ashkenazim and the "Eastern"/Sephardic Jews.
