The Call:
to the best of my recollection:
Dr. Vertucci, opened by announcing the addition of the satellite co. and the positive affect on cash flow that it would contribute ,the reason initially that they (imp) were looking at this merger was for support of their kiosks buisness however the Dr. acknowledges that the satellite addition has far reaching prospects in tyhe areas of multimedia,digital, microwave transmission of signals=data transmission capabilities, video compression, and voice to name a few.
he also pointed out that he is actively pursuing a relationship with the NBA, NFL, USTA(tennis) and other sports mediums however their plans are not limited to this arena, they want to be on more university campuses also establish a relationship with medical schools to set up kiosks for transmission of info to some of the more remote locations of training programs to keep faculty and students up to date on on-going activities. The question was brought up about financing and the rumor about reg-s issuance the Dr. flatly denied that there would be any Reg S placements. he was also asked if the 10.3M in financing they recieved from CLG was restricted and his answer was no. he also stated that there may be some small private placements however he stated that he felt this would add little dilutive affect on the stock price if any. part of the financing will be to complete aquisition of the satellite co. and for on-going operations they also have been given a 33Mil credit line in addition to the 10.3M. what was interesting to me was more on the side of entering into the arena of telecommunications and all the implications therein. He did mention that cos. like ATT et.al. were looking into this niche however he pointed out that they are currently re-sellers of some of ATT efforts in this area and pointed out that often the big boys will do the legwork and set them up in certain areas already established by the b.boys. questions came from the likes of AG EDWARDS a local TV network
the phantom and other interested parties. It will be interesting to watch this new merged co. to see what their marketing crew can generate in terms of new buisness and how their rollout of kiosks goes with the USGA and the PBA moreover i'm most curious to see the telecommunication aspect of this co. take roots and really begin to explore mediums of advertising/voice/video transmission over the air waves. can't say much more but this is a brief summary of what transpired during the call there may be some inaccuracies but i did not tape the conference call probably should have. Overall tone was
